My name is Carol Motsenbocker. My parents built this house and we moved in when I was 12 years old.It is a wonderful house and was very exciting when I was growing up. OU students came by the busload to see the house and my mother, Mary, always let everyone in. My sister, Cathy, and I had a routine to pick up the house in a hurry and make it ready to show. The new owner is wonderful. The outside of the house is the same except for color. The inside was opened up and is still much the same. The pond in the backyard was always fun because the frogs loved it.! The only thing that was scary were lighting storms. The entire back of the house is glass and much of the front so a storm was something!

My name is Catherine Motsenbocker, younger daughter of J.O. and Mary Motsenbocker. I have pictures of our family living in this house which was designed by Bruce Goff in 1957. I found a few pictures of both interior and exterior dated in the 1950's. The exterior of the house was originally stained redwood. The new owners completely destroyed the back yard, tearing down the two walls with upper and lower pools where waterfall the length of house visible from each room. Interior completely redesigned from 3 bedroom/3 bath home to a completely open space with only 1 bedroom. Extensive landscape of 3/4 acre destroyed by addition of swimming pool and concrete bridge to reach. I can't bear to go back to Oklahoma as concept of home completely changed from architects original designs. My mother, Mary Motsenbocker, gave the original plans to the University of Oklahoma for
safekeeping. My sister, Carol, had another full set but sold in an estate auction. I have no knowledge of buyer. I wish I knew to whom I could contact with our family story of living in this exceptional house. Please contact me if anyone interested.
